BERNEDOODLE TN

A Bernedoodle is a cross between a calm, gentle Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, this crossbred Doodle produces a dog with a wonderful temperament.  Bernedoodle TN captures this breed!

The Bernese Mountain Dog has a teddy bear personality, gorgeous coat and markings, however they do shed. 

The Standard Poodle has a well-deserved reputation as a highly intelligent dog with a loving, loyal personality and non-shedding coat. 

Bernedoodles are happy, smart, calm and cuddly. Bernedoodle puppies have a playful and affectionate personality; they do well with children and love to spend time with their families. This combination pulls out the best qualities from their two parent breeds.  

Size we Breed

Our Bernedoodle TN puppies will be a standard size F1 generation between 40-80 lbs. and about 20-24 in. at shoulder height. They will have be Tri-coloror phantom marked along with being super soft. Their coats will be wavy and they will have furnishings (long hair on face, eyes and feet). Bernedoodles will range from medium to large. Although they can’t fit in your lap entirely, they will certainly try, until ending up with their head in your lap, staring at you with those puppy dog eyes that you simply can’t resist!

They are a medium energy breed. Bernedoodles, like many other breeds, require a walk and playtime ideally twice a day, after which they are normally happy to veg out and play couch potato.

Bernedoodles are smart and easy to train. They are people oriented, sociable and love to be a part of the family activities. They make the most amazing family dogs and loyal companions. Some of our puppies are now service dogs. Their love for people has won them over as one of the most popular breeds on the planet!

**Please don’t adopt one unless you are keen to walk and stimulate at the very least twice a day!

Bernedoodle TN

I chose Bernedoodles because they are a well-engineered crossbreed. The Standard Poodle is the 2nd smartest dog along with a Bernese Mountain dog with their laid back personalities make Bernedoodles a great combination with beautiful markings, low shedding and smarts!Nernese Mounatin Dogs have a calm, docile temperament where Standard Poodles tend to be more observant and loyal, this lands you with a perfect match up for a great companion. With  correct breeding they have less genetic and mechanical health issues which eliminates the inbred factor and gives them a better chance a long, healthy life.  

Bernedoodles are minimal shedding breeds, ideal for people with mild dog allergies. Many people who react to “normal” dogs are fine around them. However, if in doubt you should ask to be invited to our next Puppy Open Day and grab a few cuddles with our dogs to test it out first or look out for one at your local park, lake or beach! In addition, you could also look on your Bernedoodle Facebook community to see if there’s someone who lives nearby that you could buy a coffee and a puppicino for to spend some time with their Bernedoodle

Bernedoodles are clever and easily trained and are full of character and personality.

Family Dogs

Bernedoodle TN  are a great watch dog breed.  Whatever comes up that looks strange (that they haven’t been conditioned to see as part of “normal” when they are babies) they will bark to sound the alarm.  Typically, they then quickly quiet down when given the command. However, any dog of any breed that hasn’t been properly socialized as a pup, and/or doesn’t have enough exercise, stimulation and socialization in its life is likely to go nuts and bark too much.

Highly sociable, the breed tends to get along great with other animals, children and people if properly socialized as a pup, which I do the whole time during the critical period of when I have them in my custody as a breeder, its your job to continue as the new owners!
